University of St.Gallen
where tech and society fuse
A cross-disciplinary hub fusing technology and society.
Full Stack. From Insight to Impact.
Humans should not be passive consumers of technological change, but should actively architect it from a societal perspective. This is what the Future Society Hub sets out to enable and support. We serve as a dynamic problem-solving space where researchers, organizations, and citizens shape technology around human values. A proactive stance that anticipates technology-induced social shifts and shapes technology through a societal lens.
About
FuSo is a hub and point of contact that addresses the opportunities and risks of technology from start to end, grounded on the newest scientific insights.
Based at University of St.Gallen, we link expertise from the School of Computer Science and Law School to deliver evidence-informed, full-stack solutions for academics, public administrations, NGOs, and industry.
Where other hubs stop at research, FuSo accompanies stakeholders across the entire journey: ideating, co-creating, mitigating risks, implementing, and evaluating in the real world.
